Q. Now that Home Information Packs have been suspended, can I market my property immediately?

A. No. Despite the demise of HIPs, the law states that it is a new duty on the person acting on behalf of the seller (meaning the estate agent) to be satisfied that an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) has been commissioned before commencing marketing. If required, we can assist you with the preparation of the EPC and this can normally be secured within a couple of days.

We’ve updated the style of the property lists available from our branches, which now comprises three main parts.

The cover pages contain a selection of premier properties being handled from all the John Payne branches. The inside colour pages contain details of properties being sold by a specific branch (the one where you picked the list up from) and the yellow pages contain a complete list of all the properties being marketed by John Payne. The inside pages are regularly updated throughout the week, which means they’re about as up-to-date as we can make them.
