We’ve updated the style of the property lists available from our branches, which now comprises three main parts.
The cover pages contain a selection of premier properties being handled from all the John Payne branches. The inside colour pages contain details of properties being sold by a specific branch (the one where you picked the list up from) and the yellow pages contain a complete list of all the properties being marketed by John Payne. The inside pages are regularly updated throughout the week, which means they’re about as up-to-date as we can make them.
Full details of all properties are available at any branch or here on our website.

The spring of 2009 has seen a substantial upturn in demand from buyers looking for homes in the local area and many more properties are now being sold.
If you are thinking of selling, now could be a good time to consider making that move. We work hard to achieve the best price for your property and you may be surprised to learn that its value could have increased in recent months.
To arrange an up to date and completely free market appraisal of your property, contact your nearest John Payne branch.

Following a recent revision of the governments Home Information Pack (HIP) regulations it is no longer possible to begin marketing your property without a fully compliant HIP being available from day one. A new document the Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) completed by the seller must now be included in the HIP and is available here as a PDF.
The Property Information Questionnaire includes details of the property during your ownership but also incorporates other basic information which should be readily available.
A fully compliant HIP must now contain the following documents;
Property searches and leasehold information must have been applied for and obtained within 28 days but will not delay marketing your home.
We are usually able to arrange to obtain a HIP within just a few working days of receiving instructions to place your property on the market. If you would like further information please call one of our residential sales branches.

Despite the current difficulties facing the property market, we are expanding and have moved to brand new high profile offices in the heart of Blackheath Village. Although times are tough right now, we’re counting on them getting better and are building for the future.
Our Blackheath Residential Sales branch now occupies arguably the most prominent location in The Village at number 1 Montpelier Vale on the corner of Tranquil Vale.
We have also re-located our Lettings and Property Management branch into our existing premises at 39 Montpelier Vale, and we are the only agent in the village to have separate dedicated branches for both Residential Sales & Residential Lettings.

If you live locally, you will probably have already noticed our new For Sale boards on properties throughout the area. We’ve adopted a black style, in keeping with our new branding and the design of our newly renovated branches at Greenwich & Blackheath.
The boards unify our Lettings & Residential branches under one style, while retaining a subtle link to the previous red and green colours associated with the respective branches.

We sponsored the recent 4th Centenary celebrations of The Royal Blackheath Golf Club which were supported and attended by HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
The day started with a ‘Grand Match on the Heath’ where with assistance from the local council the golf club recreated the original five holes of the course on Blackheath Common. A number of golfing celebrities took part including former Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallagher, famed South African golfer Dale Hayes (the youngest ever winner on the European Golf Tour) and former Ryder Cup golfer and many times tournament winner Neil Coles. To provide authenticity, the match was played using clubs of the early period with hickory shafts and special ‘soft balls’ manufactured for the occasion by Callaway Golf. Also taking part were numerous Royal Blackheath Golf Club members and their guests and despite very disappointing weather conditions with high winds and frequent quite heavy showers, all the competitors completed the course.
Following the match there was a champagne luncheon back at the splendid Georgian club house in the grounds of their beautiful golf course in Eltham hosted by Prince Andrew (pictured talking with RBGC Lady Captain Lisa Moore) who also visited the course on the heath giving support to the participants. The club captain Dingle Clark made a speech thanking the Duke of York and the sponsors for their support and further celebrations were enjoyed at the club throughout the following week.
